As this site is based on Halo, All users must be over the age of 13 as per COPPA and the ESRB Rating for Halo.

2. Terms of Service

By agreeing to these terms of service, you agree that we may change these Terms of Service at our discrepancy.

3. Account Creation

Halo : Colonies is a free browser based game. We do not require subscriptions to play the game, or the access special features or increased privileges on the site.

By agreeing to these terms of service, you agree that you will not attempt to infiltrate the games systems or exploit bugs. You also agree that we hold the right to monitor personal messages, comments and member information.

4. Suspensions and Bans

In violation of these terms of service, you agree that we hold the right to ban or suspend accounts.

5. Donations

Although donations are not required, they are greatly appreciated to help run this site.

If you do wish to donate, please use one of the links in game. We ONLY use PayPal for our donations.

Donations are not refundable in any case.

6. Account Deletion

You agree that in extreme violation of these terms of service, we hold the right to remove your account from our databases.

You will always have the option to delete your account. Deletions can not be reversed.

7. Content

You are solely responsible for the Content that you publish on the Service or any material you send to other Members.

By posting Content on any public area of Halo : Colonies, you automatically grant as well as represent and warrant that you have the right to grant to Halo : Colonies, an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, free of charge, worldwide license to use, copy, perform, display, and distribute such information and content to Halo : Colonies and that Halo : Colonies has the right to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such information and content without liability or payment to you.

By using the Service you agree not to transmit content that:
1. promotes racism, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual;
2. harasses or defames another person;
3. contains or promotes "junk mail" or "spam";
4. involves commercial activities and/or sales without Halo : Colonies prior written consent such as giveaways or pyramid schemes.
5. contains or provides information about an illegal or unauthorized copy of copyrighted work;
6. displays pornographic material of any kind;
7. provides material that exploits people under the age of 18 in a sexual or violent manner;
8. provides instructional information about illegal activities.

8. Member Disputes

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other Halo : Colonies Members.
